Fat Connection Anniversary

It's another year. Fat Connection is officially 4 years old.
Although managing Fat Connection is considered as my part time job besides being a Mummy, but there are times that it consumed more of my time than any other things.

I love this job of mine, from fabric/(items) selection,  photo taking, working on pattern, sewing, I have been enjoying every process (maybe not so on the listing online part). I really don't mind working like this till I'm old. Cheers to more years to come!

My Big Little Girl

Hanhan started Primary School this January.

From Kindergarten afternoon 3 hours class to Primary School morning 6 hours class, it was a great change, but she adjusted to the changes very well. Not only that, she told me that she loves going to school. It's really a great relief, initiately I was still worried about it.

Xinxin 4th - 9th month

Our little baby is getting more mobile and more expressive.
She babbles a lot and it's so fun to listen to her babbling.

Her first tooth came out at 8 month old, and soon came  her second one. She now knows how to bite her baby biscuits into small chunks rather than using her salive to soften it. And this gives her great joy in eating her biscuits.

Piggies to the Market: Public Garden @ National Museum

After my first flea market experience at MAAD, I stopped going to flea market due to pregnancy, now I'm back. This time, I brought my piggies to Public Garden @ National Museum on 23-24 Feb.

All the while, Fat Connection is run solely by me, sometimes it can be rather frustration, knowing that there are so many things you want to do but due to time constraint there is only so much you can do.

I was really glad that this time I have Daddy to be my chauffeur and manual labour ;P and there was also my sister selling with me at the flea. Secretly I was praying that my sister can help me in more than just selling in flea market ;)

And I have to thanks all who came to support Fat Connection!!

Xinxin 1st - 3rd month

1st Month
Xinxin didn't open her eyes at all for the first few days when we are still in the hospital. Even though we have engaged the studio personnel to take photo for her, but because she didn't open her eyes, they weren't able to take her photo. Haha... too bad... the studio personnel can't earn our money.

I was kinda of worry about her eyes, but the doctor said she should be fine, some babies don't open their eyes till much later, because their eye lids are too puffy. It's was till about 3 weeks old that she first opened her eyes. It's a great relief to finally see her eyes open. Before that I onced tried to push open her eye lids, but the confinement auntie told me not to do that :P

2nd Month
The confinement auntie had left, back to the 4 of us only. Night time isn't really sleeping time for new born, so we had lots of nap during the day. It's great to have Daddy's help, especially during the weekend.
After some nap, we went out for our first outing as a family.

Hanhan was happy to be out for some fresh air too.
After about a week on our own, I'm really glad to have my sister over to help out during the weekdays.

Xinxin loves to sleep on her tummy but we don't feel safe to let her sleep on her tummy in her day bed, and we ended up having to carry her every now and then.

Best of all sleeping position - tummy on tummy, especially on Daddy's tummy.

3rd Month
With the help of our new helper, life becomes much better for me.
Although Xinxin looks quite like Hanhan when she was a baby, they do have some distinctively different characteristics.

Love for Customised Project

Received a few customised projects before 2012 ended.
I realised working on customised projects help me to explore areas that I have yet to touch on and help me to learn more. It really feels good to be able to create new things.
